Pastor William Easter

 
Pastor William S. Easter is the anointed pastor of the Holy Cross Missionary Baptist Church of Little Rock, Arkansas. Pastor Easter holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Philander Smith College and an Honorary Doctorate Degree from Arkansas Baptist College. He accepted is ministry calling at the age of 30. After several years of serving the church in various capacities such as, deacon, Sunday School Superintendent and Minister he accepted the call to pastor the church in 1984.


Pastor Easter provides his congregation with strong teaching and preaching that is relevant to their everyday lives. Pastor Easter is a powerful uncompromising preacher of the Gospel. He is a gifted teacher and dedicated community servant. He is the Vice Moderator of the Union District Baptist Association. He is an instructor in the Union District Baptist Association Congress of Christian Education. He has served as the statistician for the Consolidated Missionary Baptist State Convention. He has served as a large group facilitator for the National Baptist Convention USA Inc. Sunday School Publishing Board Christian Educators Conference. He also serves as treasurer for the E.C. Morris Ministers Institute.

Pastor Easter has been the recipient of many awards and accolades including the 2004 “Power Play Award” from Power Play Magazine in the area of Religion.

Pastor Easter is both a Spirit-led visionary and a humble servant to his congregation and community. He is a beloved teacher, counselor and friend to his church family. His greatest joys are preaching the gospel, caring for his family and serving God’s people.
